Permit (2024) Original Artist's Study #1

This study was completed for a large watercolor illustration of a permit in 2024. It is 9x12" and includes species natural history, morphology and morphometrics, as well as notes about the individual fish which is the subject of the final piece. It's pencil and watercolor on 100 lb smooth Bristol paper.
