Spawing Male Atlantic Salmon with Alewife 13"x19" Limited Edition Giclee Print, Hand-Signed & Numbered
Karen was commissioned to create this piece to celebrate the completion of the Howland Dam Bypass on the Penobscot River in Howland, Maine. The Bypass was designed by Kleinschmidt and completed as a joint collaboration supported by The Penobscot River Restoration Trust, Maine Audubon, Trout Unlimited, The Nature Conservency, American Rivers, the Penobscot Nation, Natural Resources Council of Maine, and the Atlantic Salmon Federation. Karen's design features a detail of the architectural plans for the bybass in the background and the logos of the supporting organization. The piece is designed to allow the logos to be hidden by the mat or included in the matted piece. Printed on artist watercolor paper with archival inks, this giclee is one of only 60 printed. It is hand-signed and numbered by Karen and arrives packaged in an acid-free clear bag with an acid-free and pH neutral backboard comprised of 100% recycled content. This giclee is ready for framing, or you can purchase it framed.
All limited edition giclee prints may be hand-remarqued and/or embellished by Karen. Please see the "What's a Remarque" video below for more information on remarquing and embellishing. For more information on why to select a limited edition giclee print over an open edition print, please view the "Giclee Prints 101" video below.

This print is beautiful and Karen was so lovely to work with on this purchase. I purchased this framed and with a remarque as a gift. The print has beautiful coloration and was shipped well wrapped to prevent damage. Karen provided excellent customer service, the print arrived with perfect timing to be given to the receiver, and the overall purchase experience was great. Thank you Karen!
