Tall tales of a day on the river are often accompanied by fine brews. The Angler's Pint will insure the tallest tales will be told while sipping your favorite beverage from this 21.5 ounce glass featuring a beautiful full-color scientific illustration of a fish by award-winning Maine artist (and angler!) Karen Talbot. The process used for creating these full-color glasses is the highest quality process short of hand-painting each and every glass, and every part of the process occurs in the US.
If you've enjoyed a pint in Britain, you may have noticed a small crown etched near the top of the glass in which your pint was served. The crown stamp indicates the glass is a certified vessel capable of holding 20 imperial fluid ounces (568 ml). A similar certification does not exist in the US, but the standard pint served on this side of the pond is just 16 US fluid ounces (473 ml). The Angler's Pint holds 21.5 ounces (636 ml) and graciously boasts its superiority with a fly rod above both a crown and an American flag.
The Angler's Pint was selected by the Orvis Company as a "best gift idea" and is available through their catalog and online. Please note Orvis may have inventory when Karen Talbot Art Online is sold out of Angler's Pints, and shipping may be less expensive through Orvis. In short, Karen is thrilled to partner with Orvis on the Angler's Pint, and she wholeheartedly supports you purchasing from them directly.
The Angler's Pint is a distinctive glass standing 7.25 inches tall with a 3-inch diameter rim. The base is 2.375 inches in diameter. These are heavy, durable glasses featuring a German design that feels comfortable in the hand and looks stylish on the shelf. While Karen prefers to handwash her Angler's Pints and air dry so as not to affect the taste of her chosen beverage, the Angler's Pint is dishwasher safe!
Custom handpainted Angler's Pints are available by contacting Karen at Karen@KarenTalbotArt.com. The cost of custom handpainted glassware starts at $50 per glass.
If you are ordering multiple items, they will ship together by default once the backordered item is ready. If you would like your other items to ship sooner, please either place two separate orders, or contact Karen directly at Karen@KarenTalbotArt.com. Thanks!

This was the perfect gift for my brother-in-law....a beer connoisseur and fly fisherman living in Portland, Oregon....once his buddies see his, they will all want them. The best part is the art is exquisite...that's important to an angler. My husband, who doesn't fish, loves his because it will take a full pour. Fabulous job, Karen!
